What to Do Before Coming In
Knocked-Out Tooth
Handle by the crown, not the root. Try to place it back in the socket or store in milk. Get to us within 30 minutes.
Severe Toothache
Rinse with warm salt water. Take over-the-counter pain relief. Apply a cold compress to your cheek if there's swelling.
Broken Tooth or Lost Restoration
Save any pieces. Cover sharp edges with dental wax or sugar-free gum. Avoid chewing on that side.
Swelling or Suspected Infection
Do not apply heat. Use a cold compress on the outside of your face. This requires prompt attention — call us right away.
